Located at 36 S 7th St, Philadelphia, PA 19106, Time & Peace Café and Gallery operates as a cafe serving Philadelphia in Pennsylvania. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as event venue, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

Coffee in the United States is served by three kinds of places: national chains with drive-thrus and mobile ordering, independent neighborhood cafes that double as a workspace or a meeting spot, and specialty shops that roast their own beans or buy single-origin lots and brew them by pour-over, espresso or cold brew. Most open between 6 and 7 a.m. on weekdays, slightly later on weekends, and the busiest hour is the commute rush before 9. A drip coffee runs a few dollars, espresso drinks and specialty pours more, and tipping a dollar or a percentage on the card reader is customary but not required. Nearly every cafe offers free Wi-Fi, though some limit laptop seating at peak times or on weekends, and outlets are often the scarce resource.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 7:30 am–3 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (267) 687-7024. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is time-and-peace.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.8 out of 5 from 246 reviews, which is a strong result for a cafe in Philadelphia and suggests consistent service.

Philadelphia is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Philadelphia follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Coffee shop and gallery, art work for purchase. Books and gases available, good music. Great coffee. Service may be little slow.

One of the best coffee shops in Philly and I’ve quite literally almost been to every coffee shop in Philly. The Walnut coffee is incredible- highly recommend. So unique and beautiful space of community.

This was such a cozy spot to grab a mid-day coffee. Not super crowded, there were seats available. And the person behind the bar, I think her name was Justine, was so personable! She made a great walnut cappuccino.

This place feels like home. I decided to do a day trip to Philly from NY and I’m so happy I came across this cafe. The lady at the front is so warm and welcoming. The decor, books, and couches make you want to stay there for a while. To top it off, the drinks are amazing!! I had the honey cinnamon latte and it was PERFECT!! Not too sweet or overwhelmed with cinnamon. I’d love to visit again!

Tucked away, this Time and Peace cafe is a gem for a quiet time and a good coffee. They have some very interesting options, and today I'm trying the walnut cappuccino. The walnuts are on top and on the rim (if you are dining in) and only on top if you are taking it to go. The maple syrup that it comes with, gives it the perfect sweetness, so taste it before adding anymore sugar. The regular cup is a small cup, I would recommend the large, so you can get your normal caffeine intake 🤭. I also tried the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich on a croissant (+$1). Very good! What I loved about it is the fresh egg they put on right before they make it! Amazing! The almond croissant, although warmed up, didn't live up to my expectations. It was a bit dryish and not very flavorful. Brown bags for all my purchases (it was a to go order) and the perfect white napkins included set me up for lunch. The setting is quiet, books and paintings on the wall give it a last century vibe (I felt oh, so good!) and make it a cozy, relaxing place. I would highly recommend it for a time away from the office to de-stress...
